Michael Holder started Blessed Rentals as a small car-rental business in 2007. After 22 years in the corporate world, he made the decision to work in the business full time.
What began with rental cars would soon grow into a wider transportation service for residents and visitors to Barbados.
Expanding access since 2012
From a Family Need to a Service for Others
When a young relative with a disability needed help getting around, Michael acquired a van fitted with a wheelchair lift. That personal act of assistance became a service for other people with disabilities.
Today, the team provides taxis, rental vehicles, wheelchair-accessible transportation and mobility equipment across Barbados. The company name is pronounced “Bless-ed Rentals,” reflecting the faith that continues to guide the business.
